We always wanted Minji to learn English outside school so that
she could become genuinely fluent by the time she finishes her
education. We also hoped it would help improve her school grades.
Here in Korea, she has very little contact with English apart
from a few lessons at school each week. When Julia explained
that younger students could join, we registered her so that
English could become a regular part of her life.
She absolutely loves it. She says the teacher is kind and funny,
and her classmates are lovely with her too. She speaks a lot
during the lessons, which is wonderful.
Before IC English, I had never really heard Minji speaking
English. Now I hear her using it every day, and it makes me
so happy.
Sometimes she cannot join live because of a school activity
or because we are out. When that happens, we watch the recording
together at home, and even I learn something from it!
I’m sure that if Minji continues with IC English, she will
eventually speak extremely well. She is also meeting people
from different countries and learning about other cultures.
I completely recommend it.
